What is Anorthosite (Lundhs Antique)?

The Anorthosite, was formed by a magmatic (volcanic) reaction about 1000 million years ago. The magma hardened deep in the earth’s crust under high pressure and temperature (around 1000 degrees C). It cooled down slowly, which results in uniform crystals with similar size. Anorthosite is in general often referred to as granite due to its hard surface.
