We spend a lot of time and money on decorating the inside of our homes, thinking about what colours to decorate in, what furniture to buy and which accessories to style with. More recently, we have all been putting a lot more of our efforts into our table settings. One quick search of the word ‘Tablescapes’ on Instagram or Pinterest and you will be presented with a myriad of inspirational design ideas for both indoors and outdoors.

It's all in the details: Epilogue tray and small bowls made of natural stone.

Tableware & natural stone accessories

One of your most important decisions when creating your alfresco tablescape will be which style of tableware you opt for. From your plates and cutlery to your glassware, the key to a beautiful table setting is making sure each and every element works together cohesively. Think about complementing finishes and colours – if you’re going for a rustic feel, use some twine as napkin rings, or if you want to achieve a more luxurious aesthetic, have a hint of gold of silver run through each part of your tableware.

What is your favourite table decoration style?

Add trays and platters, exquisite vases and salt bowls to your table

Our natural stone accessories are the perfect addition to tablescapes of all styles. From serving trays and platters to exquisite vases and salt bowls, there are a number of beautiful pieces in our collection to complement your outdoor tablescape. Like our worktops, our natural stone accessories come in four different materials and two finishes. The ideal pairing with a dusty pink tablecloth and gold cutlery, Lundhs Antique offers a warming touch to the table. The other stones – Lundhs Blue, Lundhs Royal and Lundhs Emerald – will all work beautifully with crisp white linens and fresh flowers as well as with wooden chopping boards and bowls for a more rustic touch.

Pair with natural materials and textures

The great outdoors automatically makes us feel more connected with nature. When decorating your outdoor table setting, it’s always nice to bring in as many natural materials and textures as possible, as it is where these will work best! All of our accessories use 100% natural stone and will look wonderful set against reclaimed wood backdrops, wicker baskets and wooden tableware. For that added bit of rusticity in the garden, pair our Lundhs Antique accessories with chunky terracotta plant pots and plenty of greenery, resulting in an outdoor space that exudes a luxurious yet relaxed charm.

Add some soft furnishings and finishing touches

As the popular saying goes… it’s all in the details! It’s important to remember that our outdoor décor schemes should have just as many accessories and finishing touches as our indoor spaces. From outdoor rugs to comfy cushions, there are plenty of accessories that can be added to make your garden feel just as comforting and inviting as the inside of your home. So don’t be shy, layer up those alfresco areas and entertain in style, whether it’s just the family or a group of friends!

All of our accessories are made from Lundhs Real Stone and as a result are able to withstand outdoor conditions. Naturally resistant to UV rays, meaning the colour won’t fade in the sunlight, as well as resistant to water, scratches, heat and stains, you couldn’t find a better range of accessories for your outdoor table.
