Getting ready to entertain
This year more than ever we’re looking forward to welcoming friends and family into our homes once again. The entertaining season will soon be upon us and so it’s time to get prepared!
Get organised and store away any paperwork and work-related items to make room for nibbles, drinks and comfortable seating. Nothing says ‘welcome’ better than a beautifully tidy, yet inviting home, filled with candlelight and plenty of room to sit or stand.
Make sure you have all the accessories you need to make serving friends and family a breeze. Beautiful platters, trays and bowls to serve your canapés and nibbles on are a must, as are candle holders and vases to display any winter foliage. Our webshop has plenty to choose from to make your home feel cosy, stylish and welcoming…. So, get shopping and open those bubbles!

Setting the table
The centre of home gatherings, the dining table setting is key to getting your ambience just right. For that perfect refined and elegant style, combine crisp linen tablecloths and napkins with your very best dinnerware, glassware and sprigs of seasonal greenery to impress friends and family.
Winter is the ideal time to put that extra bit of effort into your table settings. For an added touch of luxury, create a centrepiece with tall candles displayed in our minimalist natural stone candle holders. These individual holders are the ideal addition to a tablescape and can easily be moved to another area of the home when you have finished your meal and moved on to after-dinner drinks.

From festive wreaths on doors to decorated mantlepieces, nothing sets the scene better than those final seasonal touches in the home. One glance at Pinterest or Instagram will provide you with plenty of inspiration on how to incorporate some winter greenery into your home. From the ‘re-wilding’ approach to more curated styles, Christmas is the ideal time to get creative with nature in the home. Team your natural touches with twinkles of fairy lights and plenty of flickering candlelight and you’ll feel instantly cosy!
