What is Larvikite? (Lundhs Blue, Lundhs Emerald, Lundhs Royal)

A complex blend of beautiful feldspar crystals, Larvikite was formed by a magmatic (volcanic) reaction about 300 million years ago. The magma then hardened deep in the earth’s crust under high pressure and temperature. As the magma slowly cooled, the crystals that were formed became uniform and similar in size. Larvikite is often referred to as granite due to its hard surface.
