We extract large blocks of Larvikite and Anorthosite from our quarries. These are sorted into different colors and qualities before being exported to stone factories around the world. Each block of stone that is extracted is given its own unique block number. This means that we have full traceability from quarry to finished installed product through selected partners.

The factories that buy stone from Lundhs process the blocks into slabs, tiles, landscape stones and monuments. The factories are located in Italy, Spain, India and China. The factories in Italy and Spain supply stone slabs to Europe and North America. India and China supply to their nearby markets.

A contractor or architect selects materials based on aesthetics and properties for each individual project. At Lundhs, we assist with advice on the right quality for different applications to ensure the best possible result, as well as the necessary documentation and tests.

A distributor buys boards or tiles from factories and stocks them in their market. In some cases, the distributor also takes care of installation. Facade boards are often delivered from the factory directly to the project.

When the finished stone surface is to be installed, skilled installers will ensure that this is done in a safe and professional manner, adjusting the stones with special tools where necessary.
