The Kew Gardens Carbon Pavilion, designed by Mizzi Studio, has been shortlisted in two categories at the Surface Design Awards 2026: Public Realm and Regenerative Design.

Lundhs’ contribution forms the literal base of the structure: Larvikite stone footings in Lundhs Blue®, engineered to a custom thickness of 90mm, elevating the pavilion above ground level for a sense of lightness and structural poise.
The winner will be announced at the Surface Design Awards 2026 ceremony during Surface Design Show 2026, on Wednesday, February 4th at 6 PM.
