  • How the Surface is Made
    • The raw stone surface is ground with diamond tools and polishing powders until it becomes smooth and glossy.

Honed
  • Applications
    • Suitable for countertops, tiles, tables, facade panels, monuments, interior items, and other applications where a matte and smooth surface is desired. Can be used both indoors and outdoors.

  • Tips
    • Ideal when a matte surface with a more subtle appearance of the crystals. This finish provides  a beautiful contrast when combined with other glossy surfaces.

  • How the Surface is Made
    • The raw stone surface is honed with diamond tools until it becomes completely smooth and matte. This process involves using diamond abrasives to refine the stone's surface, enhancing its natural beauty and achieving a honed surface.

Silk/brushed
  • Applications
    • Suitable for countertops, tiles, tables, facade panels, interior items, and other applications where a matte and lightly textured surface is desired. Can be used both indoors and outdoors.

  • Tips
    • Use this finish if you prefer a tactile surface that feels softer and more subdued. It is well-suited for rooms with abundant natural light and pairs beautifully with both glossy and matte surfaces.

  • How the Surface is Made
    • The raw surface is treated with metal brushes that grinds away the softer parts of the stone. The result is a slightly textured and matte finish.

Caress
  • Applications
    • Suitable for countertops, tiles, tables, facade panels, interior items, and other applications where a glossy and lightly textured surface is desired. Can be used both indoors and outdoors.

  • Tips
    • Use this finish if you desire an exciting expression that combines both gloss and texture. It pairs beautifully with both glossy and matte surfaces.

  • How the Surface is Made
    • The stone is treated with metal brushes that remove the softer particles, after which the surface is polished to achieve a glossy finish. This results in a lightly textured and glossy surface.

Waterjet
  • Applications
    • Tiles and facade panels, as well as other applications where a rough surface with low friction is desired. Best suitable for outdoor use, but can also be used indoors.

  • Tips
    • Use this surface if you need a slip resistant surface outdoors or in bathrooms or other wet areas.

  • How the Surface is Made
    • The stone is exposed to a high-pressure water jet that opens up the surface structure, resulting in a coarse-textured finish.Unlike a flamed surface, waterjet treatment preserves more of the stone's original colour and shimmering features.

Flamed
  • Applications
    • Tiles and facade panels, as well as other applications where a rough surface with low friction is desired. Best suitable for outdoor use, but can also be used indoors.

  • Tips
    • Use this surface if you desire a non-slip finish for outdoor or wet areas. When water (e.g., rain) is applied to the surface, the stone's original colour and crystals become visible.

  • How the Surface is Made
    • A flame is directed at the stone's surface, causing the crystals to fracture and create a light, coarse-textured finish. This surface is ideal when high slip resistance is desired, with minimal crystal visibility and subdued colour.
