Lundhs Real Stone’s 100% natural surfaces boast exceptional heat resistant qualities – tested by SINTEF. Lundhs Real Stone surfaces can withstand temperatures of up to 300 °C.
Thanks to their high density and non-porosity, Lundhs Real Stone´s Larvikite and Anorthosite materials possess incredible strength, resistance and absorption qualities. All surfaces are resistant to heat, scratches, stains and water. They are easy to clean and require minimal maintenance. No sealing required.
Guaranteed heat resistant up to 300 ºC. Withstands high temperatures without burning, scorching or cracking.
Ultra-high density provides a resistance to staining from coffee, tea, oil, wine and citrus fruits.
Larvikite and Anorthosite have a very high density and are naturally scratch-resistant.
The colour of the natural stone will not fade when exposed to sunlight.
The surface of a Lundhs material is very easy to clean and requires no regular maintenance. Simply wipe clean with water.
The material will resist changes due to thermal shock and will not expand in freezing climates.
The high abrasion resistance makes the stone an ideal surface for commercial applications and high traffic flooring areas.
Due to extremely low water absorption, the surface will withstand stains and watermarks, making it the ideal surface for spa areas and swimming pools.

Lundhs Real Stone kitchen work surfaces are tested by FIRA International. Lundhs Blue, Lundhs Emerald, Lundhs Royal and Lundhs Antique kitchen worktops achieved maximum rating 5 scores in all tests.
Why are we testing by FIRA?
Testing by FIRA provides reassurance to our customers of the satisfactory performance and durability of our products in service use. FIRA International is a UKAS accredited to BS EN ISO/IEC 17025:2005.

Our experienced block inspectors in our quarries are able to identify the smallest flaws, using skills and intuition developed over a number of years. They categorise the blocks into different colour and quality levels, making sure that the right colour and quality will be available for different purposes.
When we extract a block of stone from our quarries, we give them a unique block number. This number is traceable all the way from the quarry to the end product, ensuring that you get the perfect colour and quality level.
When you purchase a Lundhs Real Stone worktop from one of our recommended suppliers, you will receive a Certificate of Authenticity with the unique block number.
Our experienced quality controllers are inspecting the colour and quality of the raw stone blocks.
