Founded by Kine Ask Stenersen and Kristoffer Eng, Ask og Eng creates bespoke kitchens, bathrooms, and handcrafted furniture from their workshop in Drammen, Norway. The AE7 Vanity Unit

A perfect example of Ask og Eng’s material philosophy is the AE7 vanity unit — a design where the tactile warmth of bamboo meets the refined strength of Lundhs Antique®. The vanity’s bamboo cabinetry, treated with hard wax oil, is paired with a natural stone top that adds depth and visual contrast. To complete the space, the same stone is used on the bathroom floor in a different finish, creating a seamless and cohesive look.

Formed more than a billion years ago on the west coast of Norway, Lundhs Antique® is an Anorthosite — a natural stone composed of large, shimmering feldspar crystals in rich brown and blue tones.

Beyond its beauty, it is also highly durable and safe:
- Heat resistant up to 300°C
- Non-absorbent and easy to maintain
- Scratch and stain resistant
- Naturally free from silica, making it safe to work with.
