Sommerro was originally Oslo Lysverker's functionalist art deco building from 1931, and was designed by renowned Bjercke & Eliassen, with decorations by visual artist Per Krohg and sculptor Asbjørg Borgfeldt. Original details have been preserved and modernized by LPO architects in collaboration with the international design studio GRECODECO , who have made the custom-made interior an aesthetic pleasure of the rarest. Stonework installation is done by Ellingard.
